Part 3 in my Seasons' Collection: Spring
The joy of Spring as nature awakens. Cool, soft shades emerge from the dormant soil and we feel hopeful of the warmer days to come. Daffodils are just one of many Spring delights. Their leaves turn a wonderful natural yellow when dried long after the flowers have faded.
 
A soft line of yellow daffodil leaves has been carefully woven in to the base and around the side giving contrast with the green iris sibirica leaves. Sitting inside the border of willow bark is a circle of cordage handwoven with daffodil leaves.
 
This basket is 100% natural, handwoven using willow bark which has been harvested from sustainable coppiced willow, and the elegant iris sibirica plant I love to grow in my suburban garden.
